Huge indoor waterpark with 12 slides, 15 pools and outdoor beach

A huge waterpark has been labelled as "one of the best in Europe" - and most Brits haven't heard of it

Aquaworld Resort is just outside of Budapest in Hungary and is well-known for its great variety of pools and slides

It has 15 pools altogether, most of which are indoors, although a couple are found outdoors and are open during the summer months

It features two additional children's pools, a 25-metre swimming pool, sun loungers, playgrounds and the country's largest water playground, the Aqua Spray Park

There are a total of 1km worth of slides for people to enjoy, ranging from relaxing splashes to fast thrill rides for more excitable visitors

For adults hoping to get away from the noise, there's an oriental spa and "saunaworld" which is only for people aged 14 and above

Getting to Aquaworld from the UK is simple, with flights to Budapest from as little as £12 with Ryanair. Day tickets to the park costs £21 for adults and £11 for children
