How to lose 6lb in 6 weeks

Former Strictly dance professionals James and Ola Jordan have lost nearly SEVEN STONE between them and have created their own fitness app, Dance Shred.

In the couple, who share daughter Ella, saw their weight balloon after leaving Strictly nine years ago. No longer working out seven days a week, they began gorging on junk food.

After vowing to get in shape they developed their own programme with the help of celeb nutritionists Jo Travers and Amanda Ursell — using dance-based exercises to create enjoyable workouts.

Coupled with their diet plan, their six exercises, each taking six minutes, will help you lose 6lb in six weeks. They include front kicks, swivels, lunges and sidekicks.

In terms of food, grilled salmon with asparagus and quinoa salad is one of the low-calorie recipes they recommend to complement the workouts.

Another one is courgette noodles with prawns and tomato sauce which can be prepared in under 10 minutes. Make sure the prawns are cooked through and the courgette has softened.

For breakfast, opt for banana oatmeal. All you need to do is cook oats, mashed banana, ground cinnamon and milk in a small pot until the oatmeal is creamy.
