HIGHEST PAID PLAYERS IN EUROPE REVEALED

With Mbappe on more than DOUBLE Harry Kane and four Prem stars in top seven

At joint No 7 on the list are Liverpool's Mo Salah and Man Utd's veteran Brazilian Casemiro, who both pocket a tasty £1.52m a month. Both have been linked with Saudi moves where they would earn a considerably larger salary, no doubt.

Just ahead of them is Barcelona hitman Robert Lewandowski, who demands £1.6m a month from the cash-strapped Nou Camp giants at the age of 35.

At No5 is his LaLiga rival and Austria captain David Alaba, 31. He is Real Madrid's top earner on £1.61m a month, while team-mates Vinicius Jr and Jude Bellingham are joint tenth on the list, scraping by on a mere £1.43m a month.

Man City and Norway goal machine Erling Haaland, 23, is at No4 with a monthly pay packet worth £1.63m. His bonuses are said to top up his bank balance by up to £3.4m a month - and it's pretty likely he usually gets them.

At No3 is Haaland's City pal and provider of many of his goals, Kevin De Bruyne. The Belgian playmaker extraordinaire, 32, is the Prem's top earner in terms of wages alone with a monthly deal worth £1.73m.

Harry Kane boosted his earnings by moving to Bayern Munich from Spurs last summer, taking the 30-year-old England skipper's monthly wage to a staggering £1.8m. But that's only enough for second place...

At No1, by a country mile, is PSG and France star Kylian Mbappe. He blows his rivals out the water with a monthly salary of £5.15m. Real Madrid will do well to match that if they finally do land the  25-year-old in the summer.
