We tested heated airers from Aldi, Asda and Argos to dry laundry without heating – the cheapest cost just 6p an hour

We put the most popular heated airers to the test to find out which one works best, how much they cost to run and rated them out of five.

At 220W an hour, this costs approximately 53p - or 6p an hour. The load was dry in around nine hours, including a towel.
