‘Haunted’ ghost ship abandoned after ‘deadly disease swept through it’ is discovered frozen in time

An abandoned ship has been left to rot in port after its passengers apparently contracted a dangerous lung disease three years ago.

An explorer shared photographs of the creepy vessel in Florida after bravely venturing inside - finding the dusty remains of its casino exactly as it was left.

Piles of casino chips still sit scattered on the tables after the ship was abandoned following an outbreak of Legionnaires’ disease.

People living nearby told the photographer that some people died from the outbreak and the ship is haunted by their ghosts, so they won’t have anything to do with it.

Eerie images show rows of slot machines and stools inside the vessel's casino.

Playing cards, safe keys and a cash counting machine all lie where they were left.

The photographer said he spent several hours on the "creepy" ship and even found $50 covered in mould
