European waterpark compared to the Caribbean with slides, lagoons and private beach to reopen
A waterpark which is just a few hours from the UK has tickets for as little as £16 a day - with pools, slides and rides to choose from.
Cavour sits just outside of Verona in Italy and has a range of features suitable for both kids and adults, with thrill seekers and those looking to relax all well catered for too.
Its fan-favourites are slides like the Iceberg, a 6-lane multi-slope slide, on which friends and family can go down at the same time and race one another.
For younger kids, there's Adventure Rock to play on - a water playground with waterfalls, slides and even sand imported from Egypt to provide an authentic beach experience.
More of this fine white sand can be found at Palm Beach, which provides an altogether more relaxing vibe for visitors and is part of the reason Cavour claims to have "The Caribbean in Verona".
Guests can enjoy beachfront activities like aqua aerobics, or just relax with a drink from the on-site Tiki Bar, which serves cocktails and soft drinks in the sun.
The park will open from June 2 until September 8. A day ticket costs €27 (£23.20) while an afternoon pass can be picked up after 2:30pm from €19 (£16.30).
