Bury Vets for Pets will be celebrating their 20th birthday on March 28, 2024, and their clients and the community are invited to help with the celebrations between 1pm and 7pm.

The practice opened in 2004 and offers a full range of veterinary services from general animal health treatments and welfare advice, to emergency medical procedures.

To mark their anniversary, they will be offering visitors light refreshments, and members of the team will be on hand to introduce themselves and offer tours of the practice, showcasing the new branding, the full refurbishment and extension.

The recent building works have increased the size of the practice by just under 800 sq ft, enabling Bury Vets for Pets to expand both consulting and clinical capacity.

The practice has had a stylish new makeover

They have also invested significantly in their team. Over the past 20 years, the practice has expanded from a team of four to nearly 30, with the longest standing member of staff having completed 19 years’ service.

Representatives from Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary will also be present to celebrate with the practice. Sanctuary Manager Karen Weed said:

“Vets for Pets in Bury have been providing Bleakholt animals with the highest level of care for around 20 years. They look after our dogs, cats and small animals, and are always on hand for advice. We are grateful for all they do for Bleakholt animals.”

Michael and Chris, both experienced veterinary surgeons and practice owners, said:

“The whole team is so excited about the new look and increased space. It has been a real team effort, and it’s so rewarding to see all our hard work pay off.

“We’ve enjoyed welcoming existing and new clients to our practice for the last 20 years and look forward to seeing more come through the door.

“This is a great community to be part of and we are excited to continue helping local pet owners care for their beloved animals.”

In addition to the expansion of the building and team, Vets for Pets in Bury has installed new equipment in order to make a number of advanced services available to their clients. Digital X-ray, ultrasound and endoscopic procedures, routine and emergency surgery and more advanced medical procedures are all available on-site, and they also accept referrals from other practices.

Bury Vets for Pets also offer a range of health plans to help pet owners save and spread the cost of routine healthcare with simple monthly direct debits.
