While most of Scandoval’s problems were related to Tom, Schwartz & Sandy’s took a hit from the co-owners, who pushed guests out of the restaurant instead of bringing them in.

Meanwhile the series had been filmed in a restaurant before, it was simply too much during Vanderpump Rules season 11. According to american sun, “Production was banned from filming at Schwartz & Sandy’s in season 11 because there was so much toxicity in the restaurant.” A source told the publication “tThe high level of toxicity directed at the restaurant led to many problems with the staff, whether they were working there for the wrong reasons, such as trying to get the camera’s attention, or the added pressure they got from serving guests.”

Tom Sandoval “Pushed Out” of Schwartz & Sandy’s

However, Tom took some time off from his life in Los Angeles, along american sun, he felt “pushed out” about the restaurant that changed her and Tom’s life completely. Restaurant co-owner Greg Morris advised Tom to stay away from Schwartz & Sandy’s to preserve the brand, and such “Schwartz has been picking up the pieces and being very hands-on because he didn’t want to see all their hard work suffer and didn’t want to let Greg down,” Tom Sandoval was hurt by the decision. According to Schwartz, Tom “sort of taking a step back. He’s been mostly a silent partner.”

Although Tom’s time is on Vanderpump Rules season 11 is just getting started, his responsibilities at Schwartz & Sandy’s have largely taken a back seat in the last year the drama of his personal life has become so overwhelming. While it made sense for Tom to take time away from the business with such a high profile role, the fact that he hasn’t even worked behind the scenes is puzzling. Although Tom claims he feels left out, Tom did not actively try to fix the restaurant’s image, tarnishing it in the first place was a mistake and should be fixed somehow.

As Tom’s role at Schwartz & Sandy’s diminishes, he remains hopeful that he can promote the restaurant in a positive light. While the business partners worked with Schwartz to keep the restaurant going through the tough times of 2023, things have gotten better when it comes to Schwartz & Sandy’s, even without Tom present. While he may be taking a step back for now, it’s possible Vanderpump Rules the star could move to a bigger position in the restaurant as his reputation and public perception improve.
