The Urban Greens team has announced that they will start their fifth location in July. This is the first of several future openings aimed at meeting the growing demand for a convenient, chef-driven kitchen in the city centre. The new place also celebrates the brand’s five-year anniversary and has been renewed.

Founded in 2019 by long-time friends Rushil Ramjee, Houman Ashrafzadeh and Yannis Drivas, the new venue offers Urban Greens’ signature salads and the popular warm salad menu, introduced earlier this year at the High Street Kensington flagship, created by a Mob Kitchen alumnus. Finn Tonry.

Proving that fast food can still be of the highest quality, each dish’s ingredients are further carefully rubbed and marinated before each lunch event, ensuring they are ready for fresh, quick and bespoke assembly.

Top sellers on the menu are Tonry’s Thai Crunch, which features sesame-marinated glass noodles, kale, bean sprouts, pickled chili and carrot, sugar snap peas, edamame, cilantro, mint, roasted peanuts, and a choice of chicken or tempeh. Another favorite is the Middle Feast, a warm salad consisting of harissa chickpeas, black rice, pickled kale, red pepper, blanched broccoli, tomatoes, pickled cabbage, fresh mint and parsley, roasted buckwheat and green tahini dressing.

Rushil Ramjee said: “We want to offer Londoners a quick, healthy and delicious lunchtime offer, and our new location on Copthall Avenue has been built with maximum customer convenience in mind, with efficiency and speed in mind to minimize queue times, as well as offering collection and delivery via Deliveroo.”

Houman Ashrafzadeh said: “We’re so excited about this new chapter of Urban Greens. To see three friends who were simply looking for a quick, healthy lunch switching to five sites before our 5th birthday is testament to the number of Londoners who share our desire to enjoy delicious, guilt-free food.”

Yannis Drivas added: “We have several more locations in the works and we can’t wait for our loyal customer base to enjoy them.”
