Heritage brand Antler recently launched a lust-worthy new luggage collection that discerning travellers can’t get enough of. One cabin case, in particular, is set to be a top travel trend at airports this summer.

Launched as part of the British heritage brands’ Icon Collection marking its 110th anniversary, the Antler Icon Stripe Cabin Case boasts all the high-end features you’d expect from the luxury luggage brand. Measuring 40 x 55 x 20 cm this upscale carry-on is suitable for British Airways, Jet2, TUI and Thomas Cook passengers, as well as travellers with Ryanair Priority and easyJet Speedi Boarding tickets.

An on-trend alternative to the best-selling Clifton range, the Icon Stripe is as eye-catching as it is practical. Perfect for short stays, work trips, summer holidays or city breaks, the impressive 44-litre capacity is more than roomy enough to hold everything you need for a couple of days away.

The case itself is made from the same strong polycarbonate as all the brand’s other hard-shell suitcases, but it is the subtle, upscale styling that sets the Icon Stripe apart from anything else you’ll see at the airport this summer. Available in a choice of seven earth-inspired colours, the water-resistant exterior helps to keep the case looking vibrant and new, no matter how far you take it.

Inside the case, you’ll find internal compression straps that help keep your clothes neatly organised, as well as three small additional pockets, perfect for travel-sized toiletries and essentials. A double TSA lock is provided to secure the contents of both the front pocket and the case itself, and in true Antler style, it comes with further high-spec features like the innovative, twist-grip handle and Silent Glide 360 spinner wheels.

The well-thought-out interior of the Icon Stripe

Despite the price tag of £175, the Icon Stripe is earning its iconic stripes with delighted travellers. One customer left a five-star review calling it the “best carry-on on” adding “I definitely recommend Antler carry-on. Not only is it stylish, but it is also durable. My previous American tourist one doesn’t stack up to my new antler carry-on.”

A second sang its praises by saying “Top quality as always from Antler. This is my 4th case bought from Antler and will last a lifetime.”

A third who found the Easy Glide wheels a brilliant addition, said “Loving my new cabin case. Lightweight and good design inside with the pockets for packing. Love the colour and the wheels are effortless to steer around crowds.”

The Icon Stripe Biggest

One buyer who had already invested in a Clifton Cabin and overnight bag was disappointed that the colours of the Icon Stripe didn’t match, but every other reviewer seemed pleased with their purchase. Antler has also launched the Icon Cabin with Expander which offers 46-litres of packing space and the Icon Stripe Biggest Cabin with a whopping 55-litre capacity.

While the larger models may be too capacious to meet the strict hand luggage rules of all British airlines, they are great for road trips, short stays and more. Alternatively, Australian brand Nere has recently launched in the UK with their catwalk-inspired collection from £99, and Amazon has a huge range of cabin cases to suit all budgets.
