TREAT ‘EM QUEEN, KEEP EM’ KEEN: GOBOAT OFFERS THE ULTIMATE ROYAL TREATMENT THIS JUBILEE WEEKEND

GOBOAT INTRODUCES A ONE-TIME ONLY PLATINUM SERVICE INCLUDING SCRUMPTIOUS AFTERNOON TEA AND A COMPLIMENTARY BUTLER!

To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, the eco-friendly boat company, GoBoat, is rolling out the red carpet to offer guests the ultimate royal treatment, allowing them to truly be treated like a queen during the extra-long bank holiday weekend.

Guests sailing from 2nd June to 5th June, at its Kingston upon Thames location can add a luxury high tea to their one-, two-, or three-hour boat ride, crafted by The Luxury Picnic Company.

In addition to afternoon tea, guests that sail at GoBoat Kingston on Friday 3rd June can add on a complimentary chauffeur to their booking, a free VIP upgrade allowing them to enjoy sights such as Hampton Court Palace with their very own private captain.

The bespoke afternoon teas are available to pre-order until Monday 30th May, to be enjoyed on board a GoBoat during the four-day weekend. The following two options are available with a special Jubilee discount:

    • Afternoon Tea picnic for four people for £43.20 (usually £54)
    • Afternoon Tea picnic for eight people for £86.40 (usually £108)

The luxurious picnics boast freshly made treats using seasonal ingredients including berry and caramel tartelettes, baby scones with jam and clotted cream, truffle and rosemary focaccia with Spanish ham and much more. Vegetarian options will also be available to enjoy.

Standard GoBoat pricing for groups of up to 8 people:

    • 1 hour: £95
    • 2 hours: £135
    • 3 hours £175

    GoBoat Co-Founder, Grant Sweeney, said:

“The bumper bank holiday is the perfect time for Brits to try new and exciting ways of spending time with friends and family – as well as celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

“We’ve worked closely with The Luxury Picnic Company to curate the perfect Jubilee High Tea so our guests can enjoy the festivities in style and get a taste of royal treatment for themselves”.

    GoBoat Kingston:

From the Riverside Walk mooring next to Kington Road Bridge, charter your own electric picnic boat upriver past the iconic Hampton Court Palace to Molesey Lock, and down river to Teddington Lock.
