Restaurant Scopical Merak Was launched on May 21, 1991 in an old house on Andon Dukov Street in the Debar Maalo region in Skopje. The warm, welcoming restaurant is a favorite among the locals for its attractive interior, a large menu with high -quality traditional dishes, abundant portions and lively atmosphere, especially on weekend nights when the wine flows to the tribes of live macedonic music.
The restaurant is inspired by regional food and an extensive selection of Macedonian wines. In the restaurant’s wooden oven, meat and vegetable meals are prepared with a pot. Although steaks and burgers are available, traditional favorites such as lamb stew with zucchini and eggplant, fried sheep flour diet (Piroshka) are recommended, and swim beans. Desserts are not very memorable, but the local wines go well with a hefty lunch. It is worth booking for dinner.
