Oasis have announced they will reunite after 15 years, with brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher finally burying the hatchet to play gigs at Wembley Stadium and other UK venues next year.
But after the messy split in 2009, in which Liam sued Noel for claiming he had missed a gig due to a “hangover”, many fans are still not convinced the brothers will be able to remain friendly enough to make it all the way to the planned the gigs next year.
Fortunately, Ticketmaster’s canceled event policy means you won’t be out of money in the event that happens. You can also get insurance.

Ticketmaster policy for canceled events and refunds
According to the Ticketmaster website, if your event is canceled or postponed, you will be contacted by Ticketmaster with all the information you need about the gig. The email will also let you know if your ticket is valid for use on the rescheduled date.
But if you can’t make the rescheduled date, Ticketmaster says it will refund you in full for the ticket price you paid. This does not include any service charges or processing fees you may have had to pay in addition to the tickets themselves.
Ticket insurance for Ticketmaster
You can also buy ticket insurance when you buy your tickets, which will protect you in case you can’t make it to the event on the day. It could be because you are sick, stuck in traffic or being delayed by a flight.
In partnership with Allianz, Ticketmaster says this insurance will cover up to £1,100 of the ticket price refunded to you in these cases. Event ticket insurance also covers travel costs for events up to £100.
