If you’re dreaming of a sun-drenched, pasta-fuelled summer in Italy but the wallet says otherwise, there’s a fantastic alternative coming to London this summer that’s sure to satisfy even the most notoriously critical pasta-praisers! Emilia’s Summer Pasta Festival is returning to Canary Wharf on July 21st following its triumphant success last year.

Hosted by Emilia’s Crafted Pasta, over 2,500 pasta-loving attendees paid a visit to the Summer street-food-style festival. This year, they’ll be bringing an ever-bigger, pasta-perfect celebration to the heart of London’s bustling business district.

Not only will the festival be filled with delicious pasta, but it’s an entire day dedicated to everyone’s favourite carby pleasures, with pasta masterclasses, live music, activities to keep the kids entertained, plus so much more! However, the undisputed star of the show is the pasta–and don’t worry–there will be plenty to chow down on.

Activities on offer at the festival:

Emilia’s outdoor terrace and riverside bank will be transformed into a buzzing festival site, with several stalls set up to serve up their best pasta dishes throughout the day.

Not only will you be going home with a more-than-satisfied stomach, but there’s loads of family-friendly (and adult-only) fun to be had at the festival. Learn how to make pasta from scratch at the insightful workshops, or opt for a fabulous wine pairing masterclass to show off in front of your friends the next time you’re craving Italian.

From making your very own pasta shapes that you can take home, to learning about what sauces complement different pasta shapes (because yes, there is a link between certain pasta and sauces, contrary to British belief), there are a plethora fabulous things to do at Emilia’s Summer Pasta Festival.

As for the music, expect a fantastic line-up of artists performing throughout the daypromising the best of Italian and International music, with some vintage vibes thrown in for good measure.
