Ah, LEGO®. Young or old, these boldly coloured blocks quite literally build dreams and take you into a world of pure imagination. Well, corporate-lawyer-turned-contemporary-artist Nathan Sawaya will welcome us into his imagination this March at The Art Of The Brick: The Exhibition opens on Brick Lane, London.

What artworks can you see at this LEGO® art exhibition in London?
In The Art Of The Brick: The Exhibition, you’ll see over 150 works of artcreated out of individual LEGO® bricks – all together, over one million bricks are used for this exhibition! The exhibit includes a variety of sculptures, some reimagining the world’s most famous artworks: expect to see the likes of Michelangelo’s David, Van Gogh’s Starry Night and Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa.
Elsewhere, you’ll find a 20-foot dinosaur skeletonagain, made purely out of LEGO® bricks. Genuinely, I cannot fathom the patience it must have taken to build this sculpture. Arguably though, the main dish is the kinetic skulls installation. London is only the second city to exhibit this impressive piece of over 250 skulls that move in a sea of waves. It uses light and sound to make it look like it’s going on forever.
At the end of the exhibit, it’s over to you: you can have a go at building something magnificent out of LEGO®.
