Netflix The Upshaws will return for season 6, but when that will be released is a question.

Regina Y. Hicks and Wanda Sykes’ streaming comedy has been running for more than three years on the streaming giant, following the chaotic lives of the Upshaw family.

So far, the series has been divided into five parts, but it was announced that the episodes of the sixth part are coming. Season 5 debuts on Netflix on April 18.

In Season 6, this narrative rhythm must be explored by asking whether Lucretia is ready to cut her family out of her life, or whether she will eventually be forced back into the Upshaw house.

This all comes as Tasha (the neighborhood hairstylist) seems to have moved in with the Upshaws after her relationship with her boyfriend Noah broke up.

Despite her best efforts, Tasha has become housebound as she relies on the Upshaw family.
