London’s St Patrick’s Day celebrations will return to the capital on Sunday 17 March, with a diverse selection of activities planned to celebrate the patron Saint of Ireland! Over 50,000 people are expected to gather, as the annual procession of Irish marching bands, dance troupes, and pageantry winds its way through the centre of the city, thanks to the return of the beloved parade.

Irish national treasure and drag legend Panti Bliss will be Grand Marshal of this year’s spectacular parade, which kicks off in Piccadilly and concludes in Whitehall. Expect to be treated to a world-class line-up of free, family-friendly entertainment programmed in partnership with the London Irish Centre.

Speaking of, enjoy the best of Irish arts, culture, food and music throughout the day, including both traditional and contemporary music, Irish dancing, plus so much more. Artists such as Ruari Glasheen, Jiggy, Kestine, will hit the stage that’s all set to transform Trafalgar Square to the biggest St. Paddy’s Day celebration in the country.

The Mayor’s annual celebration has become a highlight of London’s cultural calendar as Londoners and visitors alike, unite in celebrating the great contributions Irish people have made to the capital and the world.

London’s St Patrick’s Day celebrations will return on Sunday 17 March. The parade starts at Hyde Park Corner, and then travels through Piccadilly, St James’s Street, Pall Mall, Cockspur Street, and Whitehall.
