Episode 5 / A perfect couple is the penultimate chapter of the series and features notable stars such as Nicole Kidman and Liev Schreiber.

The Netflix drama takes place at an idyllic family wedding, which is shaken by a sudden death that turns all the guests into suspects in the murder. By episode 5, the sights have narrowed down to a possible killer, and all the action boils down to the release of Greer’s (Kidman) Book.

Liev Schreiber – Tag Winbury

In episode 5, Liev Schreiber plays Tag Winbury, Greer’s husband and the father of her three sons.

In this episode, Tag is cut out of the rest of the story when the police interrogate him as a suspect in Merritt’s murder—the woman he was secretly having an affair with. He eventually escapes the police by providing a solid alibi and returns drunk to crash the launch of Greer’s book.

It is also revealed in one of Tag’s flashbacks that Merritt was pregnant with his child. Although Tag initially claims to be happy, he later tells Merritt that the timing isn’t right for them, and they argue, leading to Merritt storming off to the beach.

Schreiber is an Emmy and Golden Globe nominee for his role Ray Donovan.

Eve Hewson – Amelia Sacks

Michael Beach – Dan Carter

Nantucket Police Chief Dan Carter joins Nikki in her investigation of Winbury.

In Episode 5, Dan is one of the police officers in charge of interviewing Tag. He reveals that the drugs in Merritt’s system hadn’t been there long when he was found on the beach.

Michael Beach is known for his roles Tulsa King, Aquaman, and Sons of Anarchy.

Ishaan Khatter – Shooter Dival
