Those in the know will tell you that Glastonbury isn’t a three-day, or even a five-day, event. It consumes you all year round. From registration to ticket sales to line-up announcements all before the music festival itself, it’s a neverending rollercoaster – and we’re only just getting on the ride for 2025 with registration now open.
With ticket sales in a month (November 15), we can reveal the odds of you going aren’t great. Getting Glastonbury tickets makes securing Oasis tickets look easy. With only 210,000 tickets sold each year and a staggering 2.5 million hopefuls logging into SeeTickets, it’s not looking great, let’s be honest.
AceOdds has looked into the data and seen that the probability of securing a Glastonbury ticket in the main sale is less than a one in ten chance – 8.4% to be precise. Oh well, there’s always resale, right? Right!? If we optimistically assume 10,000 tickets will go back on sale, your chances are at 0.4%.
What can I do to improve my odds?
In 2020, all tickets sold out in just 33 minuteswhile this year’s resale tickets were completely gone in just 22 minutes.
