Summer may be over, but with cooler days, the joy will be inside a cozy pub – especially if your drink is free. To celebrate pub chain Young’s 193rd birthday, they are giving away a free beer to customers next week.

Young’s operates in London and the south of England and owns more than 230 establishments. Some of their London pubs include the Bunch of Grapes, in London Bridge, the Duke of Cambridge, in Battersea and the Duke of Clarence, in Kensington.

The chain was founded in 1831 and will celebrate its 193rd birthday on September 19. As well as giving away free pints, Young’s will also be holding a horse and carriage tour of Greenwich and Wandsworth.

There will also be the chance to win a free dinner, with starters included with the chance for a pop-up dining experience and the chance to meet Young’s “majestic” Shire horses.

To redeem the free pint, customers must download the On Tap app where it will be automatically awarded in the ‘Your Treats’ section from 16 September. It can then be used to redeem a free pint of Young’s Original or Special, with any other options available too.

The offer is valid in all Young’s pubs and rooms from 16-22 September, with plenty of locations across London to choose from. Young’s has one map of all locations in London so you can check where your nearest pub is.
