As the cold weather surely but slowly wraps us all up in its embrace, many of us are already looking ahead to next year and the return of warmer weather. Particularly because warmer weather also signals the return of festival season – which is really the ‘most wonderful time of the year’. And one of the most delightful festivals, that allows the chance to enjoy the weather, nature, and some fantastic tunes, is the Kew Gardens ‘Kew The Music’ festival. And to get you excited for 2025’s event, they’ve already announced some of the headliners.

Let’s set the scene for you. You’re sitting back or lying down, and you’re enjoying a picnic with your friends on a warm summer day. You’re surrounded by the jaw-dropping natural scenery of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kew Gardens. And you’re being serenaded by live music at the same time. That’s exactly what’s in store for you at Kew The Music when it returns to London from July 8 – 13, next year.

Now, they haven’t released all the details of all of the acts yet. But they have revealed a few of the headliners and even some of the support acts. Here’s what they’ve announced so far:

  • UB40 Featuring Ali Campbell – July 10, 2025
    • Plus special guest Pato Banton, and more
  • DJ Spoony Presents Garage Classical – July 11, 2025
    • Plus special guests Daniel Bedingfield, So Solid Crew, Heartless Crew, and more
  • Gipsy Kings Featuring Nicolas Reyes – July 13, 2025
    • Special guests to be announced

In between performances you can graze from your own picnic or hit up the open-air bars and street-food stalls. Unlike many outdoor festivals, guests can bring their own food and drink to Kew The Music! There are even ticket options that come with a picnic hamper and BBQ packages included.

Tickets are already on sale for July 10, 11, and 13. As more acts are announced, further tickets will go on sale nearer the date.
