TFOS 6 brings out the (best of) storytellers

The Festival of Storytellers Chapter 6 kicked off last January 20, 2025, and will be rolling for two weeks until February 2. The Festival will be abounding with authors and books galore!

The spirit of learning and sharing also abound in the Author of the Hour (AOH) sessions. The AOH features an author and highlights their book, which serves as the fodder for discussion and sharing of insights on the book’s subject. There are up to three AOH sessions every day of The Festival; they are either moderated by their fellow author or a professional. The sessions on Day 1 cast the spotlight on Thomas Fitzhugh Sheets author of Reclaiming a Christian Moral Compass, Arthur J Besler, author of How? How? How? Jesus Can We Have Your Church Fired Up Again?, and Bobbie J McLaren, author of Gun Oil and Teddy Bears: Surviving Shame, Fear and Suicide to a Life of Freedom.

Interactive book promotions at the TFOS 6

The Festival of Storytellers Chapter 6 will never be complete without book promotions in the forms of Book Plug and Book Shout-Out. In both Book Plug and Book Shout-Out, book covers are flashed, but only the former comes with QR codes that enable on-screen purchases. The interactive book promotions are just one of the highlights of The Festival that draws in viewers who actively engage through the comment section, airing their interests in the books being flashed in real time.

Giveaways drum up viewers’ active participation
