The team behind Soft & Swirly will be making themselves at home at Hackney’s E5 Bakehouse to offer up their rightly-hyped soft serve, ice cream and sorbet each weekend for the remainder of the month. First up: a loganberry and sheep’s ricotta number made for enjoying on nearby London Fields.

After nurturing restaurant concepts including Tendril and Darjeeling Express, The Sun & 13 Cantons is now hosting London’s only Cambodian eatery, Mamapen. Helmed by Kaneda Pen, here you’ll find modern, fuss-free takes on his mother’s cooking, such as BBQ pork neck skewers, ‘panko pork toast’ and a vibrant, sour pineapple curry.

Joseph Denison Carey at Boundary

Rejoice! Founder of The Bread and Butter Supper Club, Joseph Denison Carey, will be serving Italian-leaning comfort food at this stylish Shoreditch hangout for the entire summer. Race you there for the pork and fennel polpette in arrabbiata sauce.

Former St. John and Lyle’s chef Felix Reade is bringing everything he learnt living between Chassignolles and Marseille over the last four years to bustling Clapton. But don’t go thinking it’s all French fare — here you’ll find sfincione (Sicilian pizza), poached skate with caponata, and lots more broadly-European goodness.

Paxti Andres & Ariel McQueen at Sonora

Burritos Machete founder, Paxti Andres, and Ariel McQueen of Mexico City-based food design studio, Obscuro Con Blanco, are taking over the kitchen at Sonora Taqueria to offer up their take on tacos de canasta — tacos stacked in a basket, therefore served lightly steamed — as well as mighty micheladas.

Naz Hassan at The Sea The Sea

As part of The Sea, The Sea’s Untapped series, former Pidgin chef, Naz Hassan, will be rustling up an eight course tasting menu showcasing the very best British fruits de mer through a unique Bengali-Italian lens — and the lobster tagliolini with a chingri macher jhol-style sauce has us salivating already. Veggie? Don’t worry, a limited number of tickets for a plant-based menu are available.

This month, Honey & Co.’s beloved founders Sarit Packer and Itamar Srulovich are hosting two separate sets of supper clubs. The first, with Little Duck the Picklery’s Omer Ido, will showcase the chef’s take on the Jewish-Kurdish home cooking he grew up with, while the second will see Tuscan-based food writer and cook Emiko Davies dish up fare from her book Gohan: Everyday Japanese Cooking.

The Gun in Hackney has incubated many of London’s best-loved up-and-coming culinary concepts — from Ling Lings to Sho Foo Doh. Now, it’s Jay Claus, Peter Ward and Syrus Pickhaver’s turn. From mid-July, the trio will be combining experience gleaned at London institutions including Acme Fire Cult, BRAT and Quo Vadis to serve up modern iterations of forgotten British recipes, such as chicken fried John Dory, beer battered cockles and potted mushroom. There’s currently no end date in sight, but we’d advise getting there, stat.

Diet Paratha X The Standard

Summer not quite hot enough? Fear not! The Standard Hotel is collaborating with Diet Paratha on a trio of pop-ups showcasing some of the best South Asian food from across the globe, including Sri Lankan via Kolam in Paris, Indian care of BADMAASH in LA, and Afghan from London’s very own Cue Point. Hop to it!

Palestinian chef and owner of Akub, Fadi Kattan, is teaming up with Muaddi Distrillery on a supperclub in aid of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Raising funds for Medical Aid Palestine, Anera and Amos Trust, the evening will see three distinctly different types of arak (a triple-distilled spirit made from grape juice and infused with aniseed) paired with a set menu featuring the restaurant’s wholesome, delicious fare.

Legendary television chef, author and style icon, Gizzi Erskine, will be taking over the kitchen at the Fortnum and Mason studio to showcase the brilliance of different ages of delectable Comté cheese with a modern French menu. C’est bon.

Vanika Choudhary at Carousel

Run, don’t walk: celebrated Mumbai-based chef, Vanika Choudhary, is bringing a taste of her elevated, modern Indian fare to London for just five days. An expert in fermentation, foraging and rare, indigenous produce from regions such as Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Maharashtra, she’ll be blending a handful of her treasured preserves with local British ingredients to redefine society’s expectations of Indian cuisine.

After more than a decade running an Indian restaurant in Ko Phayam, Thailand, chef Daisy decided to blend inspiration from both cuisines to create Magic Momo, a concept serving steamed dumplings, unique tacos and more since . Give it all a go at Clapham Common’s King & Co, where she’ll be on the pans and bamboo baskets throughout July and August.
