Tesco is gradually introducing its new Christmas range to stores, with one item catching the attention of shoppers on social media. The unique houseware promises a “white Christmas” – even if the weather doesn’t cooperate.
TikTok user Emma, known as @Fearless_in_her_40s on the platform, visited her local Tesco and went straight to the festive homewares section. She couldn’t resist showing off a “pretty awesome” F&F glass mug she found there for Christmas.
As she showed in her video, this isn’t just any mug. When you shake it gently, the white flakes inside turn into an enchanting snow globe against the backdrop of pine trees and reindeer, creating “the most beautiful winter scene”.
And the supermarket is just getting started with this festive range. From October 28, Tesco will offer hundreds of seasonal decorations, both in store and online, from just 50p, the Mirror reports.
The response on TikTok has been overwhelmingly positive, with users loving the charming mug. One said it was “nice” while another person thought it was “awesome” and wanted to add it to their growing mug collection.
Tesco’s new festive mug is a ‘beautiful snow-filled glass mug’ that’s sure to get you in the Christmas spirit. But that’s not all – the supermarket has a whole range of festive homeware planned, including soft furnishings such as cushions and blankets, as well as classic Christmas decorations to suit different themes and color schemes.
This year’s assortment is divided into three categories:
- Cozy: A modern twist to the traditional Christmas color palette that mixes natural foliage, rich textures and warm creams and greens for a Scandinavian feel.
- Festive fun: A joyous explosion of color, characters and patterns, including stripes of candy canes and gingerbread people.
- Indulgence: Focusing on jewel-toned shades and luxurious details such as velvet.
Quality Street, Cadbury and Lindt chocolates will be available at reduced prices exclusively for Clubcard members. Additionally, sharing tubs of chocolate will be included in the substantial party discount.
