Nisa has appointed Taranjit Singh Dhillon as its new Head of Retail following the departure of Victoria Lockie. Lockie left Nisa after 12 years to take up the role of retail director at Unitas Wholesale.

Dhillon joins Nisa from One Stop, where he worked for 11 years, most recently as national operations director. In this role, Dhillon oversaw a network of 350 franchises, partnered with retail teams to improve store appearance, and implemented strategies aimed at increasing revenue and profitability.

Before joining One Stop, Taranjit Singh Dhillon held management positions at Lidl and PepsiCo.

In his new role as head of Nisa’s retail business, he oversees the development and implementation of Nisa’s retail strategy, focusing on improving efficiency in the company’s versatile network of customer stores.

Katie Secretan, Director of Sales and Retail at Nisa, said: “I am thrilled to have Taranjit join the Nisa team. His hands-on experience in independent retail and his ability to build franchise relationships are exactly what we need to take our dealership proposition to the next level and I am confident that he is the right person to lead our dealership team.

“Taranjit’s fresh ideas and proven track record of driving growth will be key in helping us achieve our long-term strategy.”

Dhillon added: “This is an exciting time for independent retail and I am delighted to be joining Katie and Nisa’s dynamic team. I look forward to using my experience to improve our offering, help increase recruitment and continue to deliver value to our retailers.”

The appointment comes as Secretan strengthens its Teams to help deliver on Nisa’s ambitious growth plans, with further appointments to follow later this year.
