Crazy Golf Bar Swingers close the original London City location due to plans for demolition.

The bank’s location will close its doors for the last time on March 22, in anticipation of the landlord’s planned renovation.

The Swingers City was opened for the first time in 2016 and was the company’s first permanent location after the Shoreditch-pop-up success.

It was one of the pioneering venues of competitive dating with crazy golf, cocktails and street food in the theater atmosphere.

Since then, a wave of experiential entertainment sites, such as concepts such as Ping Pong, Darts Bar, and Shuffleboard, have opened several places.

When the city site closes, the swinging is only one place to change London. The company has also expanded to the United States, with openings in New York, Washington DC and Las Vegas. In addition, it is planned to open new seats in Boston and Dubai later this year after a investment of £ 40 million in 2023.

Matt Grech-Smith, the founder and CEO of Swingers, said, “The Swingers City was where it all started. When we signed the lease, we had no idea how much this venue would design not only our business, but also to a wider competitive dating site. At that time, the concept combines crazy golf with high quality food and drink in a fascinating environment was practically unprecedented.

“The Swingers City helped to level the way to the whole industry by inspiring a new era of social entertainment. It has been an incredible riding, and we are so grateful to our incredible team, loyal guests and anyone who has been part of the Sweasers City story.

“Although we are sad to see it, we are enthusiastic about continuing its heritage as we continue to expand.”
