The Danish-Japanese restaurant group, known for its sushi and grilled sticks, has appointed Kushal Banerjee as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Banerjee brings over 17 years of experience to her new role at Sticks ‘n’ Sushi. In her new role, Banerjee will oversee the finance teams in Copenhagen, Berlin and London. His duties include leading financial decision-making, implementing the board’s strategic recommendations and participating in the company’s ongoing expansion efforts.

He joins Sticks ‘n’ Sushi from Azzurri Group, operator of ASK and Zizzi, where he served as CFO for five years. His previous positions include the Daily Mail & General Trust PLC, Lion Capital and Manchester United, bringing a wealth of experience to his new role as CFO.
