Stacey Solomon is an expert on home organisation, hosting BBC show Sort Your Life Out where she helps people make their space clutter-free. This spring, she shared with her social media fans a nifty trick to keep your shoes neatly stored away if you lack space and we’ve spotted the same brand she recommended reduced on Amazon.

On her Instagram stories, Stacey shared a picture of her shoes cleverly stacked in her wardrobe using a HYGRAD Pack Shoe Slots. While the exact item she used (a set of black racks) is out of stock, you can still nab these Clear Double Layer Shoe Rack Slots from the same brand. A pack of six is on sale for £24.99 down from £28.99, or get a pack of 12 for £39.99.

Each slot holds two pairs of shoes, with each pair sitting on top of each other. This means you use only half the space compared to putting them next to each other. A pack of six gives you the ability to store 12 pairs of shoes, which works out at around £2 per pair.

The double-layer shoe rack design has adjustable height, providing a suitable location for your flat shoes, slippers, trainers, leather shoes, children’s shoes, and high heels. It helps protect your shoes from compression or damage and stop them looking messy. The surface of each slot has little bumps to prevent the upper shoe from slipping off, keeping your space neat and tidy.

While the HYGRAD Clear Double Layer Shoe Rack Slots has yet to receive any reviews on Amazon, the black version Stacey snapped up had high praise so we’re predicting similar feedback for the clear. Amazon customers say that the HYGRAD shoe rack storage ‘made a huge difference to my shoe storage and saved space.’ One person gave the product five stars, writing: “These are an absolutely godsend. Wish I had found this item sooner. They are great if you have a lot of trainers. They are ingenious. Do buy if you have lots of trainers or flat shoes. 5 star all round.”

However, some found the brand’s black shoe storage to be lacking in quality so the same may be the case for the clear organisers. Someone said: “Did exactly what I wanted them to do. They are a little flimsy but for the price, you can’t really go wrong.” Another noted: “The material is a little too flimsy but it works.”

Amazon also sell this Lifewit Shoe Storage Organiser for £32.99 – shoppers say it is ‘very sturdy’ and ‘saves so much space in the wardrobe’. It can store up to 20 pairs of shoes and it has a dust cover which shields them from dirt. You can also find space-saving shoe storage solutions at Dunelm. The £55 Tiered Bamboo Shoe Rack not only looks stylish, stocked in three neutral colours, shoppers love how it comes ready assembled.
