Some fans think Sonic the video game character Amy is hidden inside Sonic 3 movie trailer.
After several months of waiting (and lots of rumors, the trailer was ready), the first look Sonic the Hedgehog 3 has finally debuted online.

Did Amy hide in the trailer for Sonic 3?

While this possible view of Amy is far from clear, it wouldn’t be too surprising if the character pops up in the upcoming Sonic movie in three parts.
Amy has been with the franchise for over 30 years at this point (her debut back Sonic CD in 1993). It’s even longer than the iconic Shadow the Hedgehog, who makes his big screen debut in the upcoming film.

“A fan named _harry.butcher_ (no space in the name) had a chance to talk to Colleen. He said that ‘Sonic Movie 3’ won’t be the last movie. He can’t comment on Amy, but he smiled about it. He would like to see Team Chaotix – program or movie.”
This was after the film’s writers, Patrick Casey and Josh Miller, offered a riddle “(things are) in the works” when asked about the character during the 2022 Q&A with fans (via GamesRadar).
This is not to say that Amy will perform 100% Sonic 3 in the film, but given the previous precedents Sonic movie franchise, it would make sense for the character to pop up eventually.
If Sonic movie universe continues to grow (which all signs seem to be), so a character like Amy seems like a natural next step.
Amy Rose is one of Sonic’s most notable friends who hasn’t appeared in the movies at this point.
If/when he eventually hits the silver screen, yes Sonic the film team may move on to some niche characters on the fringes of the Blue Blur, such as Big the Cat and Rouge the Bat.
