Sodexo UK & Ireland has appointed Lynsey O’Keefe as the new managing director for its business services and energy and resources business segments. These segments provide workplace services, property management and food services to approximately 670 sites in the UK and Ireland, working with some of the world’s most recognized brands.

Lynsey O’Keefe brings extensive experience in food service, workplace management and facility management across multiple industries. As the new CEO of Sodexo’s business services and energy and resource business segments, he is responsible for the company’s continuous growth in workplaces. His role spans a wide range of locations including corporate offices, data centers, production centers as well as offshore platforms, refineries and remote locations.

Before joining Sodexo, Lynsey O’Keefe was CEO of a flexible workspace provider. Over the past 20 years, he has held senior management positions in several leading organizations, including Compass Group and DHL.

O’Keefe’s exceptional track record of driving strong growth and driving employee engagement makes him key to Sodexo’s goals. His appointment is expected to strengthen the company’s efforts to expand its presence in the corporate and energy sectors.

Sodexo’s Corporate Services and energy and resources business employs more than 6,000 people in Great Britain and around 2,500 in Ireland, serving customers in several different industries. These industries include professional and financial services, pharmaceuticals, energy, media and technology.
