Director Tim Sheader said: “All different but all fabulous, we are thrilled that these six artists will take a turn demanding Jesus walk across their swimming pool as the infamously camp but lethal King Herod. Choose to see any one of them and we promise, for a golden moment, they will stop this juggernaut of a show in its glitter filled tracks.”

The production runs from Saturday 20 June to Saturday 5 September 2026, with press night on Tuesday 7 July.

The creative team includes Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, director Tim Sheader, choreographer Drew McOnie, designer Tom Scutt, musical supervisor Tom Deering, lighting designer Lee Curran, sound designer Adam Fisher, fight director Kate Waters and casting director David Grindrod.

Jesus Christ Superstar will be presented at The London Palladium for an 11‑week season, reuniting the team behind the acclaimed 2016 Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre production.

The musical follows the final days of Jesus Christ as seen through the eyes of Judas, featuring songs including ‘I Don’t Know How to Love Him’, ‘Gethsemane’ and ‘Superstar’.
