Sister wives star Janelle Brown reveals how Robert “Garrison” Brown’s beloved pet cats are faring after his death. In March 2024, reality TV viewers read the news that Kody Brown and Janelle’s son Garrison, 25, had died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. They soon confirmed the news on social media. Garrison had been found dead in his Flagstaff apartment by his brother Gabriel. Garrison was described as a bright spot in everyone’s life. An indispensable part of the Brown family, Garrison adored cats. She had three cats at the time of her death: Catthew, Patches O’Houlihan and Ms Buttons.

Janelle revealed that Catthew and Patches O’Houlihan are living with Logan Brown and Michelle at their house, while Miss Boots is living her best life with Aspyn Brown and Mitch. Logan was Garrison’s older brother and Asypn was Garrison’s half-sister. She is the daughter of Kody and Christine. Janelle mentioned that it was “spectacular“how could they go on about Catthew, Patches and Ms. Taking care of Boots like Garrison would.

Garrison was introduced her new cat on Instagram just five days before her death. The newest addition to her home was Ms. Buttons. He is nine years old and was euthanized. Garrison had written that his “savior complex“couldn’t get enough of calling himself”#crazycatlady.” Garrison was a proud pet owner. He documents his love for animals on social media. Garrison had similarly introduced Catthew to his Instagram fans in January 2022. He had even taken name suggestions from his followers. Garrison adopted her second cat in December and named her Patches O’Houlihan.

Garrison was honored by the High Country Humane Animal Shelter. The The Arizona-based organization had named its cat adoption room after Garrison and honored her for the love she had shown the shelter cats and adopted them from there. They thanked Garrison for taking care of the animals with them and told him that they will always remember him. High Country Humane revealed how they saw nearly 1,000 people support them as they raised just over $25,000 in just two weeks.

Garrison was very passionate about older cats. Janelle was moved to tears by the donations sent to Ark Cat Sanctuary and High Country Humane in Garrison’s memory. Sister Wives fans had found a meaningful way to honor Janelle’s late son by donating to several animal causes that Garrison was passionate about.
