Meri Brown has reinvented herself since last season Sister wives, but that doesn’t change his treatment of Paedon Brown. As Kody Brown’s first wife, Meri had only one child, Leon Brown. However, he was involved in the lives of Janelle Brown, Christine Brown and Robyn Brown’s children. The Brown family worked as a unit Sister wives take on different roles. While Janelle worked outside the home, Meri and Christine took care of the household chores, including raising the children. Although Meri may have been a great mother, she failed with Paedon and some of the other siblings.
Paedon, born on August 7, 1998, is Kody and Christine’s third child and the seventh of 18 children. Like the rest of the family, Paedon grew up in Utah and later moved to Las Vegas with his family. After graduating high school, he completed National Guard Bootcamp in 2019 and moved to Flagstaff with his brother, Garrison Brown, who later died tragically. Paedon has openly discussed his troubled relationship with Meri. In an exclusive interview with John Yates As of 2023, Paedon described that he and some of his siblings never felt comfortable around Meri. Paedon stated that Meri’s behavior caused a feeling of insecurity and that she actively avoided mentioning him in family conversations because of the negative experiences she had with him. Some of her siblings, especially Maddie Brown Brush, shared this sentiment, reinforcing the strained dynamic of the Brown family.

The allegation that verbal abuse overtook Meri’s actions is concerning, as it suggests that there was physical violence in the Brown family. However, this has not been confirmed.

Although Maddie didn’t name Meri directly, the timing of her tweets led many to believe she was referring to her stepmother. However, it is important not to forget the accusations of his mistreatment of Paedon and other siblings of the Brown family. If Meri was really mean and verbally abusive, she needs to apologize to her grandchildren and try to mend the relationship. While the Brown family dynamic is undoubtedly difficult and fraught, it is important for them to find healing after Garrison’s tragic death. Hopefully Meri can make amends to Paedon and Maddie after their adult lives Sister wives.
