On March 15, staff and residents at Hampstead Court Care Home in St John’s Wood celebrated St Patrick’s Day in style.

The afternoon began with a heartwarming sing-along, bringing residents, loved ones and community supporters together in joyful harmony. Volunteer Jackie, who regularly spends her time at Hampstead Court, showed off her musical talents as she played a selection of songs on the piano.

This was followed by an impromptu St Patrick’s Day themed quiz, and the ‘Indestructibles’ team were delighted to be crowned champions. The home’s talented culinary team prepared a delicious spread for the occasion, featuring traditional Irish snacks and drinks, including corned beef, soda bread, apple pie and a beer or two.

The day came to a close with a heartfelt rendition of “Danny Boy”. Speaking about the day, Hampstead Court’s Head of Home, Dan Bridges, said: “Thank you to everyone who joined us for this unforgettable event. Here’s to many more moments of joy and fellowship
the spirit of Hampstead Court. Bowl!”
