To celebrate BrewDog’s Wingman landing in the UK, the Scottish brewery has announced a nationwide scavenger hunt in BrewDog bars, where customers have the chance to win a year’s worth of beer for them and a friend. From Plymouth to Edinburgh, and a further 19 bars in between, Wingmen figures – resembling the iconic beer mascot – have been parachuted into BrewDog bars with QR codes on their backs.
Each figure revealed can be redeemed for a free pint by scanning the code on the back of the mascot. Once scanned, players will be taken to a landing page to receive a free pint of the session IPA. A player is also set to win a year’s supply of beer for both themselves and their wingman, as all applicants for the free pint are automatically entered into a grand prize draw, with the winner notified by email within 30 days of the competition ending. Repentance period.
The treasure hunt begins on Sunday, May 19 in all participating bars and will continue until all Wingmen figurines have been redeemed. BrewDog spokesperson Lauren Carrol said: “We’re delighted to be giving fans a free sample of our iconic Wingman beer, but thought we’d give it a twist and tie it to a British favorite with a game of hide and seek. .
