A charmingly festive storytelling event for children is winging its way to London’s Natural History Museum this December. From December 1-15none other than Father Christmas himself will be visiting the museum to spread some festive cheer. Amidst a fairy-lit wonderland, within one of London’s most stunning museums, guests can enjoy a special ‘Storytime with Father Christmas’ experience.

When December is upon us, and we all begin to count down to the very day itself – as well as being extra well-behaved – a magical Christmas experience awaits. Before Santa’s big day travelling all around the world and delivering gifts, he’ll be inviting visitors into his magical grotto. There, “children of all ages can settle down on big cushions to hear the story of The Night Before Christmas straight from Father Christmas himself.”

It’s a chance for children to hear from the man in red himself about how he gets ready for Christmas with the help of the elves and reindeer. At the end of the storytime sessions, children will also get a present and a chance to meet and take a photo with Santa.

Across December 1-15, there will be a number of ‘Storytime with Father Christmas’ sessions each day. These will take place at 10:15, 11:30, 12:45, 14:00, 15:15, and 16:30. The first session, each day, is a SEN-friendly session. These take place at a more relaxed pace, with sensory kits available for guests.

Tickets are £17 per child, with up to two adults also included in the ticket. It’s sure to be a popular Christmas-time experience – so make sure you book your ticket before it’s too late!
