Amazon has slashed the price of Samsung’s new Galaxy headphones that customers have said are “superb”. The Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro with Galaxy AI has been reduced to £169, a £50 discount from the usual £219.

The deal is also available from Samsung, while Sky Mobile is offering them for £7 when the cost is spread. Amazon has also reduced the standard Galaxy Buds3 to £129.

Released in August, the new Galaxy Buds3 Pro are the ideal Bluetooth headphones for Android users who want to complement their Samsung or other Android devices such as Sony or Google Pixel. They offer crystal clear sound whether you’re listening to your favorite albums or the latest podcast, designed with an improved two-way speaker and Samsung’s “first-ever” dual amplifier.

Those using a new Galaxy device such as an S24, S23 or Z Fold6 will also benefit from “ultra high-quality” audio that delivers sounds with “intricate” detail as if straight from the recording studio. They also feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) which combines with Galaxy AI to identify and block unwanted noise, with the feature optimizing what you hear by adjusting to match your surroundings.

Buds3 Pro offers up to 30 hours of runtime and can be controlled with your fingertips using a series of simple touch gestures, eliminating the need to use your phone to answer calls or skip songs. But one of the gadgets’ most innovative features is the AI-powered translation, which interprets conversations in real-time when used with a Galaxy smartphone – perfect for use abroad.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro have amassed more than 300 four- and five-star reviews from Samsung customers to achieve a 4.6-star rating, with users hailing them as “superb” and a “brilliant upgrade” from previous models. One impressed buyer said: “These headphones are fantastic. Small and mighty but powerful. They look great and fit remarkably well.

“I sometimes commute by public transport and I love how well the noise reduction works. it feels like you are in a library with not a single sound around you. The battery is good, I have used it quite a lot and usually charge a few times a week. A five-minute charge gives you an hour of playtime, which is great.”

Another said: “Great sound quality and fit. After using the Galaxy Buds2 Pro, using these Buds3 Pro now seems like a remarkable upgrade. The ease of syncing with my Galaxy Z Fold6 is seamless and the initial setup is a breeze. The sound quality is brilliant and the ANC feature is a must. The in-ear fit is nice and snug too. An overall brilliant upgrade to the previous model and the sound quality is fantastic.”

A third satisfied shopper said: “The sound quality is superb, with a rich, immersive experience that makes every song feel like a live concert. I was particularly impressed with the noise cancellation; it’s powerful enough to block out background noise but can be adjusted to let in ambient sound when needed. The fit is snug and comfortable, and I’ve worn them for hours without any discomfort. The battery life is also solid, lasting several days on a charge with moderate use.”

But despite leaving a five-star review, one shopper noted that the Buds3 Pro can be “slippery” to use, writing: “My gripe is how slippery these are and they’re a little harder to get into the case compared to previous offerings, but most because of the new strain.”

Samsung has also launched a new model in its smartwatch range, the Samsung Galaxy Watch7, which Sky Mobile is offering for £9 when the cost is spread. Acting as a multi-functional watch, the AI-powered gadget can be used to make and receive calls and texts, track health and fitness from its Super AMOLED display and can run for up to 40 hours.
