Now, if you happen to follow our dear UK sister sites Secret Birmingham and, in particular, Secret Manchester, you might have noticed a slight trend. They’re absolutely obsessed with this spot called Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana.

Since 2015, when Rudy’s was born in the north of England, us Londoners (rather shamefully) watched on like spoiled children as everyone waxed lyrical about the place. Our prayers (sulks, more like) were answered in 2021 when the famous Rudy’s Pizza finally decided to give London a slice of the action and serve their heavenly pizza in the heart of Soho.

Well, it just keeps getting better and better. Next month will see the arrival of not one, but two more Rudy’s restaurants in the capital city. One will be setting up shop on Shoreditch High Street, whilst the other will grace Tottenham Court Road with its presence. How handy that the latter is just a stone’s throw from Secret London HQ, hey?

The Shoreditch branch will be throwing open their doors on December 4 and not long after (December 18, to be exact), the Tottenham Court Road branch will be warmly welcoming customers too.

In the eyes of Rudy’s, Neapolitan pizza is the best in the world. Judging by the mere site of their concoctions, can you really argue with that? Their dough is made fresh each day using Caputo ‘00’ flour which has been left to ferment for at least 24 hours. Plus, their fine ingredients are imported twice a week from Naples, meaning you’re getting pretty damn close to an authentic Italian pizza-eating experience.

Commenting on the new openings, Neal Bates of Rudy’s Pizza, said: “We’re delighted to be able to offer our truly traditional neapolitan pizza to even more Londoners. We’re looking forward to becoming a part of the neighbourhoods of both Shoreditch and Fitzrovia and getting to know the locals, and are looking forward to finally opening our doors at both sites.”
