Rockfish is scheduled to open three new restaurants this year after announcing the increase in profits.

Founded in 2010, the Seafood restaurant group, founded in 2010, is currently maintaining nine rock fish in the southwestern area, together with Dartmouth’s Seahors restaurant.

The work has begun at a 5,000 square meter beachfront in Salcombe, where the Kallio restaurant and Tap Room of the Salcombe brewery, which is expected to be opened in the summer.

Last year, the group acquired Mark Hix from Oyster & Fish House Lyme Regis, which is scheduled to launch in March, while Sidmouth’s beach is scheduled to open later this year.

This extension will follow Rockfish’s 67%rise in the year ending in April 2024. The EBITDA of the group will increase to £ 1.15 million.

Last year, the company received a funding of £ 3 million to support its expansion plans.

Tonks was named Restaurant of the Year -Group 2022 Cateys group for his work with the Rockfish portfolio.

Tonks said, “We are delighted with the progress we have achieved this year. Despite the inflation winds, we have increased profitability and served more customers. ”

Rockfish’s chairman Will Beckett said: “The strange reality of the UK’s hospitality industry is the difference between winners and losers – to the point that some restaurants are flourishing as their neighbors struggle. I am really proud that Rockfish restaurants are in the former group – because Mitch and his team are so focused on their customers, incredible food and great business management. “

Rockfish manages its own supply chain through the seafood breeding business on the pier of the Brixham fishing port and maintains its own fishing boat, rockfisher.

Its online market delivers fresh and tiny seafood to over 10,000 homes and also maintain fish shops in Brixham.
