One of London’s newest day festivals is making a welcome return after a successful launch last year. Rally Festival in Southwark Park celebrates the diversity of the capital’s many communities by showcasing up-and-coming musical talent from around the world. The rally festival starts at 11.30am tomorrow (Saturday, August 24) in Southwark Park on Gomm Road, Southwark, and finishes at 10.30pm.

The first four batches of tickets for the festival are sold out, with final tickets available for £60.50. Tickets are also being sold by DICE for £43.45. Organizers say the Rally Festival is about “the connection between artist and audience above all else. RALLY supports, respects and celebrates London’s music and arts communities. RALLY strives to create opportunities for grassroots culture.”

There will be three stages showcasing music throughout the day, with English electronic duo Mount Kimbie taking the main stage at 21.30, supported by other big names Nilüfer Yanya, Sorry and Alabaster DePlume. Canadian musician Marie Davidson will play the second stage at 9:30 p.m.
