This is the first time the hugely popular tactical hero shooter has been available outside of its original PC version, opening up the game to a whole new audience.

When will the Valorant Console Beta end?

Appreciation

At the time of writing Appreciation the console’s beta is ongoing, with no final end in sight.

The beta was originally released in a limited phase (only for players with an invite code) on June 14 for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

This appears to be the start of an extensive testing phase for the title before its final full console release.

According to the game’s official website, the beta phase seems to continue for a long time, as the game’s development team writes, “We won’t close our doors until we’re sure our servers and code are fully locked down and loaded:”

“We’re running a limited beta to make sure Valorant is console-ready, and we’re not closing the doors until we’re sure our servers and code are fully locked and loaded.”

They add that the fans will get “as much in advance (as much as possible)” final beta end date, but don’t mention when it might be:

“However, we will give you as much advance notice as possible when we agree on a termination date, including updating this article and sharing details on social media.”

When is Valorant’s full console release?

With Appreciation console beta underway, the game’s full PS5 and Xbox Series X/S release is still a question.

It can be assumed that the full release of the game will come once the beta phase is completed and Riot Games is confident about the state of the title.

After writing, Appreciation on console is only available in a limited beta where players need codes to access.

This allows Riot to control how many people can flood the game’s servers at any given time, indicating that the game is still in its pre-release age.

Typically, games move from this limited beta window to a larger open beta release where anyone can download and try it out.

However, Riot may decide to abandon the open beta phase.

The development team behind the competitive shooter only kept a closed limited beta version AppreciationA PC release that ran from 04/07/2020 to 05/28/2020 (just over six weeks).

The game will then receive its full PC release on June 2, 2020, just days after its limited beta ended.

If Appreciationn’s console release follows such a pre-release pipeline, where the full game could be closer than one might imagine.

Since the title’s limited beta window started in mid-June, it’s possible that it could end this pre-release phase of development by the end of July.

Then (following the model of the PC release) the console version of the game might have a full release sometime in early or mid-August.
