Nothing makes us appreciate the natural beauty of the world we live in quite like BBC’s Planet Earth III. Now, the visual spectacle of this highly acclaimed series will enchant you all over again as it comes to life as a live concert. Taking over London’s OVO Arena Wembley on October 5 2024, the musical event features a special curation of ultra-high-definition footage from the series, shown on a giant LED screen and soundtracked by the talented City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra performing magical pieces. You’ll be able to experience the majesty of animals, plant life and the wilderness like never before.

What can you expect at Planet Earth III Live in Concert?

Planet Earth III Live In Concert follows on from the successful Blue Planet II (2018) and Planet Earth II (2022) arena concerts, treating an enraptured audience to extraordinary stories from every corner of the planet. The concert uses segments from all eight episodes of the series, with a spotlight on the themes Coasts, Deserts, Ocean, Forests, Freshwater and more that will see you witness the hope and heartbreak of the natural world. Whether it’s a nail-biting chase between predator and prey, the strangely beautiful mating ritual of birds or a heart-clenching look at how animals fight for survival in the face of climate change and the expansion of humankind, you’ll experience the power of this beloved series on an epic scale.

The visually striking series is a culmination of 1,904 days of filming in 43 countries, spanning six continents. What makes this concert all the more magical though, is the live music that brings the emotions of every moment to melodic, musical life. And no wonder, as it is the iconic Grammy-winning Hans Zimmer – along with the talents of Jacob Shea (Seven Worlds One Planet) and Sara Barone (Grimcutty) – whose awe-inspiring pieces feature in the show. At Planet Earth III Live In Concert, you’ll be able to hear the soaring brass, sonorous strings and delicate percussion first-hand, filling the sprawling space of the arena.
