The Paris restaurant group, known for its Latin American kitchen and vibrant interior, is to make the British British debut for opening London next month.
Tigermilk, which maintains ten restaurants in France and Belgium, opens its first UK location on 127 Charing Cross Road on June 12.
The concept is described as a “love letter to Latin America” that is not “genuine, not traditional, just full of life”.
From the restaurant, Nina and Alexis Melikov founded in 2019, and the brand now serves over 3,500 diners daily in the Paris, Bordeaux, Lille, Lyon, Nice, Marseille and Brussels.
Tigermilk’s debut The London restaurant fits 138 guests and presents white and red marble floors, mirrored roofs, tropical plants, a spacious open kitchen and a glowing wall that shows over 250 Mezcal and Tequila varieties.
The menu emphasizes foods such as chipotle-marinated t-bone steak, cochinita Pibil Tacos, fresh Dorade Ceviche with strawberries and table made guacamol. For dessert, guests can pamper the Maracuyá Tiramisu event – four layers of passionfruit and cream – or rich Dulce de Leche cheesecake.
Although the pricing of the London menu has not yet been revealed, the press release described it as “shockingly gentle”.
