There’s no shortage of places to eat great pasta dishes in London, but one name crops up a lot when recommendations have been sought in the last 10 years. We’re referring, of course, to Panwhich first flung the doors to its tiny space open nearly a decade ago in London Bridge, leading to huge queues around the bend for diners to try their delightfully-crafted pasta dishes at a reasonable price.
They’ve since opened a second site in Shoreditch, but now Padella are moving towards the centre of the city, announcing their third restaurant will land on Soho‘s Kingly Street in the spring of 2026.

What can we expect from Padella in Soho?
Frying pan’s new Soho restaurant will fit 80 people across its ground floor and basement, with a private room also included for diners to book for a more intimate setting to enjoy their pasta dishes.
Not too much has been revealed about the new menu yet, but the Padella team have said that new recipes will be found at their Soho site, with the menu also featuring favourite reliables such as the Cacio e Pepe and their Beef Shin Ragu. Soon you’ll be able to enjoy these before swigging down the rest of your Negroni and heading over to a West End theatre, which sounds like an evening to keep on rotation.
Speaking on the news of the opening, Padella owners Tim Siadatan and Jordan Frieda said: “We have always felt the energy of Soho was a perfect fit for Padella, and we’ve spent a long time looking for the right space. Bringing our fresh pasta to Kingly Street is something we are both incredibly excited about, and we hope it becomes a place where people can drop in for a quick plate or settle in for a long evening”
Padella are set to open its third London location in Spring 2026 at 2 Kingly Street in Soho.
