Oasis fans who missed out on tickets will get a second chance when the official resale window opens today (Monday, September 2). Ticketmaster has announced that these tickets – with a cap on the price paid by the seller – will be sold exclusively through its website and Twickets in an effort to stop sales promotions, bots and cost inflation.

Last week, Liam and Noel Gallagher announced a string of dates for July and August 2025, including a five-date stint at Wembley Stadium. It will be the first time they have performed together since 2009 following an infamous 16-year feud.

All 17 shows sold out within hours on Saturday, August 31, as fans struggled with long digital queues and crashing websites. The brothers have been criticized for allowing dynamic pricing, leaving people with no choice but to pay sky-high prices once they reached the checkout page.

According to Ticketmaster, artists have the choice to opt out or set limits on ticket prices but Oasis chose not to. Resale tickets have already appeared online, with Wembley tickets going for £6,000, but fans have been warned that these tickets could be voided.

Ticketmaster advised fans: “Selling tickets on unauthorized resale platforms violates the promoter’s terms and conditions and may result in the cancellation of those tickets. Therefore, they strongly recommend that you only buy and sell tickets through Ticketmaster or Twickets.”

Oasis themselves issued a stark warning to anyone trying to sell tickets for multiples of their value on third-party websites. The Wonderwall hitmakers said in a statement on social media: “We have noticed people trying to sell tickets on the secondary market since the start of the pre-sale.

“Please note that tickets can ONLY be resold, at face value, via @Ticketmaster and @Twickets. Tickets sold in breach of the terms and conditions will be canceled by the promoters.”
