Despite there being millions of places to see Oasis next summer, having a ticket to see them still manages to be like gold dust. So congratulations if you have one: it looks like you now know who the support acts will be, with an exclusive report from The Independent revealing that acts added to the UK & Ireland legs of the Oasis reunion tour are coming in the form of Richard Ashcroft and Cast.

A source close to the Gallagher brothers told The Independent that both acts had been booked in to appear as support at all the shows next summer, which take place across July, August, and September in 2025. They have suggested that Cast will perform before Ashcroft at each show, followed by the main act: Oasis.

Richard Ashcroftformer frontman of The Verveis a long-time friend of the band, and Oasis even supported his band in 1993. Ashcroft has been performing solo since The Verve last split up in 2009, and will be main support to Oasis on the dates.

Cast are another band from the Britpop era in the 1990s, and formed in Liverpool following frontman John Power’s split from The La’s. They’ve been back after their 2001 split for the last nine years, and released their album Love Is The Call in February this year. They have supported Oasis in the past at their giant 1996 show at Knebworth.

Liam Gallagher teased the announcement last week on X/Twitter, and it is expected to be announced officially in due course. Oasis are being supported by Cage The Elephant on their US dates, and support acts have yet to be announced for their Australia dates.
