Two extra Wembley Stadium shows have just been added due to popular demand, Oasis have announced. General tickets went on sale on Saturday (August 31), but sold out very quickly.
The OASIS LIVE ’25 tour was the biggest concert launch ever in the UK and Ireland, with over 10 million fans from 158 countries queuing to buy tickets, leaving many disappointed. To soften the blow, the group have decided to add two extra dates in London, on September 27 and 28.
And a special sales strategy has been introduced for them. Tickets will be sold through an invitation-only staggered ballot process.
Applications to join the vote will first be opened to the many UK fans who were unsuccessful in the initial sale with Ticketmaster. More details will follow.
Regarding the recent criticism of ticket prices, Oasis have said that they leave decisions on ticket sales and prices to their promoters and management. A spokesperson for PR agency DawBell said: “(They) had no awareness at any time that dynamic pricing would be used.
“While previous meetings between promoters, Ticketmaster and the band’s management resulted in a positive ticketing strategy, which would be a fair experience for fans, including dynamic ticketing to help keep general ticket prices down as well as reduce sales, the execution of the plan did not meet expectations All parties involved made every effort to deliver the best possible fan experience, but due to unprecedented demand this became impossible to achieve.”
