Trainee personal assistant, Fieldfisher



The European law firm Fieldfisher is recruiting trainee PAs, specifically targeting those who may be looking for a change of direction and a long-term career with the company.

The training programme commences in January 2024 and is structured with an ‘all-areas’ approach that allows trainees to move around the firm’s main business areas.

The job will involve diary management, file management, invoicing, drafting letters and emails, supporting the marketing team and much more. GCSEs at grade C and above in Maths and English are essential, and you’ll need to be a supremely organised team player.

Scheme coordinator, Radius Housing



The social enterprise Radius Housing is looking for a scheme co-ordinator for a part-time role in Ballymena, working 18 hours per week and paid pro rata.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the schemes, enabling tenants to live confidently, independently and positively in their own homes, and ensuring the safe and smooth operation of the scheme.

The essential criteria are either three years’ relevant experience in the last six years (paid or unpaid), or at least five good GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths, and at least two years’ relevant experience in the last six years (paid or unpaid).

Support workers, Positive Futures



Positive Futures, Northern Ireland’s leading learning disability, acquired brain injury and autistic spectrum condition charity, requires support workers at its Lagan supported living service in the Belfast area.

No work experience is necessary, but you will be asked about your experience of caring for another person, which could be a family member or friend.

Flexibility is a must as the work includes days, evenings, weekends, waking nights and may include sleepovers.

Volkswagen commercial sales executive, Donnelly Group



The new and used car dealer Donnelly Group is looking for a commercial sales executive based at its Dungannon site. You’ll join the sales team with joint responsibility for reaching profitability targets.

The company is looking for well-presented, ambitious individuals with proven experience in target-oriented sales – ideally but not necessarily in the motor trade.

A high level of IT literacy (including MS Office) is important, as well as the ability to work under pressure.

Wet paint specialist, Caterpillar (NI)



The construction and mining manufacturer Caterpillar (NI) requires a wet paint specialist to work day shifts at its Larne site, on a two-year, fixed-term contract – Monday to Thursday only.

This is a skilled role, which will entail a variety of tasks as part of the wet painting process, from mechanically preparing substrates and cleaning and preparing surfaces to stripe coating, cutting in and masking out.

You will need to have experience of industrial wet paint experience using 2K paint systems, and to be fully competent in all wet painting application, including repairs.

Senior DevOps engineer, Lightspeed



Lightspeed is a Canadian IT company that offers cloud-based commerce software, and has a six-strong office in Belfast.

It is looking to add a senior DevOps engineer to its B2B team in Belfast, leading DevOps automation scripting, using Grafana for real-time performance monitoring and analytics, and initiating and contributing to continuous improvement of the company’s software delivery processes.

You’ll need extensive experience in a DevOps role, preferably at a senior level, deep experience with automation scripting using Ansible, Python, Bash, Golang, etc., and proficiency with Terraform, GitLab, and Google Cloud Platform.
