Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE is the latest fascinating documentary Netflix which premiered on August 21, 2024 and takes viewers through the creation of a global girl band. The series depicted the journey of two collaborative companies – HYBE and Geffen Records – in founding the K-pop girl group KATSEYE. HYBE is the label behind BTS, South Korea’s most famous boy band, while Geffen is the team behind several big names, including Camila Cabello. Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE is not your typical reality competition American Idol or Sound.




Instead, it is far from it. Presentation documented the real-life journeys of budding performing artists from all over the world. The actors participated in an almost two-year K-pop training program. Netflix dropped Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE trailer on August 5, and the season will officially debut on August 21, 2024. The show documents the process before Academy of Dreams phase started at the same time we introduced a couple of new faces. It gave the series an emotional image, including a grueling training and development process the girls got involved and some high drama conflicts.

The last group came from Europe. There were Iliya Ria from Belarus, Lexie Levi from Sweden and Manon Bannerman from Switzerland and Adela Jergova from Slovakia.


Pop Star Academy Season 1 Filming Timeline and Location

Directed by Nadia Hallgren Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE, eight episodes are filmed over 18 months. Known for Michelle Obama’s documentary ComingNadia collected all the moments for those hopeful young girls who are waiting to become a global sensation.
