Banksy has made a much needed return to the London art scene. Amid scenes of conflict and riots gripping the country, seven fresh street paintings have appeared in London.

Crowds gathered around new installations from Shoreditch to Kew and Walthamstow to Chelsea as animal-themed works appeared every day for a week. This has left Banksy fanatics desperately trying to decipher the meaning of his prolific stay in the capital.

The interactive map below shows all the recent Banksy art you can see in London, alongside his older works that have been enjoyed for years. Although the new plays have been up for less than a week, two have already been removed from public view.

The howling wolf on a satellite dish in Rye Lane, Peckham, was sadly stolen within hours of being discovered last week. Two thieves were pictured wearing gloves and face shields as they climbed onto the roof to grab it before fleeing the scene.

A stretching cat painted on a billboard in Edgware Road, Cricklewood has been removed by contractors on Saturday who feared it would be torn down. Efforts have also been made to protect the artwork in situ, as a plastic cover has been installed over the ibex at Kew.

The interactive map also shows the location of the Falling Shopper in Mayfair, the Royal Family in Stoke Newington and Banksy’s many rats across London.
